Here I stand Faced with my reflection – Peering through the windows to my soul... Twin puddles of my essence. What can I see? Something profound...something significant? A new skin to replace the old. Another wall to protect Both the Core from the Outside And the Outside From the Core Yet with the removal Of each wall, A defence is breached. Layer by layer The Core draws closer, Waiting... Craving to be exposed, Yet terrified of discovery. No longer harmless Without its skin to Protect it.

How we came to be, Or how much longer we will Last like this I cannot know. Four years have past, Yet still we remain... Together. A short time to most, But to me - A seeming eternity. My one true hope is that This can extend our lifetimes. But if not, Know that I have enjoyed Every turn on this path. For each blow we have been dealt, We have grown stronger... Together.
