inconsequential mumblings
She thinks so little of the ones who try to love her.
Yet the ones she tries to love, think so little of her.
Or so she thinks.
She will ruin every chance of happiness
Because she thinks so little
Of herself.

killing time
Walk one way.
Then turn around and
Walk the other.
The view remains the same.
Lead walls shield me from the Outside
But my demons are inside
With me.
Suffocating in this windowless cage
I have built for myself.
It's been over a year,
But still I sit.
And think.
And kick myself.
Again.
           And again.
                            …And again.
Others may have forgiven me,
But I haven't forgiven myself.
Stupidity, naivety…
Call it what you will – does it make a difference?
I know I've moved on, but how is that possible
If I'm still
Here?
Confined within these walls?
My walls.
Unable to rid myself of these
Self-imposed shackles.
When will I be purged of this shame?
When will this weight be lifted?
When will this hole be filled?

Literature
Dear Sophie...
I didn't think it would be hard
To write you a birthday lyric.
But then I remembered one small thing –
That I can't rhyme for shit.
So please excuse my lame attempt
At trying to make you giggle
It's hard to write for someone so special,
To "crush every niggle".
In all the years that we've been friends
Not once did I wish the opposite.
Always there when I needed you,
You stuck through all my shit.
You're wonderfully creative -
My favourite poet is you!
So skilled at writing in rhyming line,
But other things too…
Like cooking and photography
But let's not forget about you!
Your beautiful smile lights up a room,
As only you can do.
You've always made me feel special,
Like there's something better out there.
I can only hope I've done you the same,
Provided you with the same care.
I know I've caused you pain in the past
And for that I'm truly sorry.
But I'm sure I will redeem myself,
So you need not worry =).
One thing you can be sure of
Is that I won't run away.
Whatever you can thr

OCD for Dummies
CHAPTER 1: IS OCD FOR ME?
OCD, otherwise known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, is a suitable condition for those who have problems organising, cleaning or counting. OCD benefits these people, in that it helps them become more organised and clean, and eventually improves counting skills, which is good for those interested in Mathematics. Mothers around the world today praise OCD in turning their grotty teenage children into 1950s housewives in a matter of weeks. If you have a messy, disorganised house, then OCD is for you.
CHAPTER 2: HOW DO I GET OCD?
OCD results in a lack of seratonin production in the brain. Seratonin is found in bananas, so if you wish to get OCD end the consumption of all bananas as soon as possible. If you have a passion for bananas, and can't give them up, don't worry. People with OCD often get eating disorders, so you won't crave them for long. If you are trying to give OCD to your pet monkey, this can be somewhat problematic, but it is possible to trick the mo

Daggers, Knives and Werewolves
The night is dark.
I look into the sky,
Seeing the moon
Glistening behind a shimmering haze.
'Tis a full moon tonight.
My skin prickles,
The hairs stand up on the back of my neck
As I hear a high-pitched howl.
The adrenalin
Is pumping through my body,
As I realise
I'm getting closer.
I clutch my dagger in my right hand,
A knife in my left,
As I prepare for what I am about to do.
I'm scared, of course
But I know I have no choice.
I creep through the shadows,
And silently approach
A hulking figure
Bent over under a tree.
He is feasting
On the corpse
Of a forest animal.
I snap a twig,
He looks.
I am repulsed
As I see the blood
Trickling off his canines.
He growls,
And runs towards me.
I know what I must do,
Yet still I hesitate.
He can sense my fear.
He leaps up,
And I stab him,
First in the head with my dagger,
Then in the chest with my knife.
He lets out
A bloodcurdling howl.
My blood freezes,
As I realise what I have just done.
I knew I had no choice.
As he lays on the ground,
Writhing
